A What a Journey!
That was the most amazing adventure! Can you believe all of the places you visited and animals you saw? The amount of data you collected is substantial, but necessary. Dr. Delaney was quite impressed with the effort and knowledge you showed during the journey. He is also pleased with all of the information you collected. It will greatly benefit him in his research about animals.Dr. Delaney has heard that each of you discovered a new animal during the journey. He is very interested in knowing all about this "new discovery", and can't wait for you to share it with the rest of the world. Everyone wants to know all there is to know about your new discovery; what is it's habitat; what does it eat; what are the adaptations that allow it to survive in that particular habitat; are there any specialized adaptations; what is it's body covering? So how about doing something about it and share.
Sharing your Discovery
You are expected to share your new discoveries with the world. You will draw a detailed picture of your newly discovered creature, and write the information required below the picture. The drawing should included the animal's habitat, the animal itself, and at least three of it's adaptations. When writing about your creature you should include the following information:
Assessment
You will receive a grade for three areas of learning. One part of your grade will be earned based on the data sheets that you completed on each Habitat you chose, the animals that live there, and their adaptations. The next part of your grade will be earned for the picture you draw of your creature in it's environment, with at least three of it's adaptations. The final part of your grade will be on the information you write to explain your creature; including all the required information from above. The information will be graded on content, mechanics, and appearance. Mechanics includes correct grammar, correct use of capital letters, and punctuation. You will need to write a rough draft of your information before adding the final copy on Google Slide. A scoring guide will be provided for you.

- 12. What is your animals name? (scientifically speaking)
